How many leads do you get from your website each month?
This could be visitors to your website that fill out a “Contact Us” form on your site.
This could be phone calls into your business who tell you they found you through your website

Sales Closing Rate
In general, in your business – how many leads turn into a sale? This should be expressed as a percentage. For example, if you generate 1 sale from every 4 leads, your conversion rate is 25%.

Average Dollar Sale
What is your average dollar sale?
You can get this number in your accounting program by looking at your sales volume for last year and dividing it by your number of transactions.

Number of Transactions
What is the average number of sales you make to a customer during the lifetime of their account?You can get this number in your accounting program by getting a count of the number of sales transactions you have had over the life of your business and dividing it by a count of all of your customers.

Gross Profit Margin
To get this number, run a Profit and Loss report from your accounting software. Take your Gross Profit and divide it by your Total Revenue. Your Gross Profit is the Total Revenue minus the cost of generating that revenue. The cost of generating that revenue is often called Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
